Absolutely yes, The Walking Dead alumni Chandler Riggs once auditioned for Marvels superhero movie Spider-Man. But, now he is not sure which Marvel Superhero he would play.
Before Tom Holland landed as Spider-Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) dozen of young actors appeared in audition room hoping to get selected. One of the actors was The Walking Dead's, Chandler Riggs.

In 2015, before Marvel announced they have selected Hollan, Riggs announced on Social Media that he has given audition and told the role will be awesome for him.

“I thought Spider-Man would be pretty cool, I auditioned for that a few years ago,” Riggs revealed the audience during a Q&A session at Walker Stalker Con in Nashville, Tennessee.
“But Tom Holland is such is an incredible actor, and he’s so funny,” Riggs praised Holland. “But I don’t know. I honestly have no idea.”
Riggs opens up, early this year, besides high profile role like Spider-Man he also took a shot of younger Han Solo in film Solo: A Star War Story, which went to an Alden Ehrenreich, 28.
The 18 years old star was killed off his popular show The Walking Dead, where he starred in the role of Rick Grimes. After his unexpected tragic death last season, he decided to pursue his career in music.
