Divorce issues are mostly heard in the life of Hollywood celebrities. Isn't it? There are some of the celebrities who have lost almost every property in the process of divorce.

These days people have taken marriage and divorce as a plaything as they do it whenever they want. But if we think it practically, then it's not an easy job. If we talk about the divorce then it is a very time-consuming process as both the parties have to meet the lawyers, divide assets and so on. 15. BRITNEY SPEARS

The Toxic singer, Britney Spears couldn't be missed, could she? All of her fans knew what her beau Kevin Federline was after, but she was deeply in love with that man. Everything was going great for her but, she once got into a whole mess of a public breakdown. However, she had to go an extra mile due to her personal problems too.

The singer got separated from her then-husband, Kevin Federline, whom she got married to on September 18, 2004, in July 2007. The husband of the superstar never wanted to make it happen, never wanted to stay with Britney. The star was always the breadwinner of her family. After her divorce, the guy, who never put anything on the table, got a huge pay deal when the couple split. 

According to the divorce papers, Britney had to pay her husband a whopping $1 million as the divorce settlement. Besides, she also had to provide an extra $20K monthly as spousal support to take care of their children. 

14. NAS

We couldn't just leave NAS out of the list. The singer had one of the biggest alimony and child support payments in the musical industry. The Milkshake singer, who was married to Kelis had been in an extramarital relationship. While the couple got separated, his wife Kelis was pregnant with NAS's child.

For their legal separation, the singer had been ordered to pay around $350,000. In 2010, NAS was paying around $51K per month which sums up to $612K per year to his now-ex-wife, Kelis. Apart from that, he also had to pay all the legal and accounting payments as well. The reason for their divorce is thought to be the extramarital affairs of NAS. However, besides that, it was also because the singer had impregnated a woman while Kelis was also going through the same kind of situation. 

13. WIZ KHALIFA

There is not a single person who wouldn't recognize the See You Again singer, Wiz Khalifa. He has been a sensation to the music industry getting successful in each and every step he takes. However, the rapper couldn't enjoy the same kind of fate in his personal romantic relationship. He, who was in a marital relationship with Amber Rose since July 8, 2013, had to go through a serious break up just ... years after they got married.

While the couple had divorced, they had no hard feelings for one another. Even before their marriage, a prenup was signed stating that the wife would get around $1 million and $14,800 as child support. The rapper was allowed to keep most of his asses including his home and ten cars. The pair had a really harsh unique breakup as they went to a strip club for the last time with each other as one last Hurrah.

Steven got divorced from his wife, Amy Irving whom he was married to since 1985. The lady was also an actress back in her times. The couple had several breakups even before they got married as they were always seen to be in an on-off relationship. After they got separated in 1989, the wife of Steven received as much as $100 million. The cash was merely a 10% part of Steven Spielberg's total net worth as he had around $1 billion during his divorce. 

11. JANET JACKSON

They got divorced as the couple had already separated behind closed doors. Rene filed for a divorce and went away from the marriage with around $10 million as a divorce settlement. 

10. KELSEY GRAMMER

The American actor Kesley Grammar, best known for his two-decade-long role of psychiatrist Dr. Fraiser Crane on the series Cheers and Fraiser, had been married to his love Camille Donatacci in 1997. It was just four years after he broke up with his wife Leigh-Anne Csuhany. The couple was going great together but, Kesley couldn't keep his hands off another woman.

The pair got divorced with the reason being irreconcilable differences. Kesley was the one to file for the divorce as it was announced on the July 1st of 2010. The divorce was officialized later on the 10th of February 2011. The lady was set to get a huge paycheck as the reason for the divorce was due to the husband's negligence and affairs with another woman. Kelsey, without any hesitation, paid his wife off with what she wanted. Camille walked away with a whopping $30 million on her bank account. Quickly after his break up with Donatacci, Grammar got married to his current wife, Kayte Walsh at The Plaza Hotel in New York City on February 25, 2011, two weeks after Grammar's finalization of his third divorce.  

9. JENNIFER LOPEZ

The next one on our list is non-other than the famed American singer, actress, dancer, and producer, Jennifer Lynn Lopez or simply known as JLo. The Wedding Planner star has been tied to a number of boys. guys in her past. She was first married to her love Ojani Noa in 1997 but, the marriage didn't last for more than a year. But, today, we are not going to talk about that marriage. We are going to talk about her second marriage with the American actor and choreographer Chris Judd.

Jennifer was married to the actor on September 29, 2001, after dating for a few months. However, the marriage couldn't last too as they got divorced in June 2002 just after a year of their marriage. The divorce was separated from her second husband citing irreconcilable differences. 

During her divorce with  Judd, she paid over $10 million as the settlement. If the marriage days are worked out, then Chris was paid over $40K per day of their marriage. The payout was a big deal to Lopez as her ex-husband refused to sign a nondisclosure agreement about their relationship. JLo couldn't let anyone know about her bedroom secrets. She had $60 million net worth during her break up with Judd, but now the actress is worth $380 million. 

8. HARRISON FORD

An unfortunate event for the fans of Hollywood as Harrison Ford got divorced from his longterm wife, Melissa Mathison. Fans were taking the marital relationship of the Hollywood stars, Ford and Mathison as a proof of marriage; as a proof of love. But, a few unfortunate events took out the happiness from their lives. The couple who had first met in 1979 on the sets of Apocalypse Now got divorced in August 2001. 

If you are wondering what Melissa walked away with, then the lady got way more than what all of you had expected. Melissa was awarded a divorce settlement of over $85 million. But, that's not all for her. She also got an undisclosed percentage of all the future earnings or royalties from the movies made during their marriage. Yes, including the Indiana Jones franchise!

Things were not as great as it was for the last 20 years of their marriage. They had a rough year as they got separated after a long trial. The ex-wife of Harrison died at the age of 65 years'.  The Star Wars star walked down the aisle with Calista Flockhart in 2010 and has been with her until now.

The English singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and composer, Paul McCartney has had one of the most unpleasant divorces in the entertainment industry. The 76 years' old is married three times out of which his second marriage with Heather Mills has caught too much attention for being chaotic.

The couple gave birth to a child, a daughter, Beatrice Milly,  just a year into their marriage in 2003. The couple officially got separated not until March 2008. The model was awarded $48.6 million even though she had claimed for outlandish reasons. If you are thinking what outlandish is then, you will be shocked to know that his ex-wife wanted $250 million from McCartney's fortune. Apart from her $48.6 million rewards, the lady also got $70,000 as an annual compensation for child support as McCartney had to pay an extra amount for private school fees and a nanny. 

6. JAMES CAMERON

While we are at it, why not include the Canadian national, James Cameron to the list. The filmmaker, philanthropist, and also a deep-sea explorer, James had been married for a total of five times just so that he could be in a healthy relationship. Not all of his marital relationship had such a huge paycheck but, his fourth marriage with Linda Hamilton sure got him off his chair for a moment. 

Linda and James had to get a divorce after two years of their married relationship. During their divorce, the wife of Cameron got around $50 million as her compensation. While for a lot of people laziness becomes the biggest factor of disappointment but for Cameron, being a workaholic created a lot of troubles in his life. James got married to his fifth wife just a month after his divorce with Linda. 

5. MICHAEL DOUGLAS

The American actor and producer, Michael Kirk Douglas was in a long-term relationship with his first wife Diandra Luker for so long. The couple got married in March  1977 when Diandra was just 19 years' old. The couple gave birth to a child, a son Cameron in 1978. Just as the couple was thought to be going great, an ill-fortune gave way to their life.

In 1995, Diandra filed for a divorce after their 18 years of their relationship. Diandra got a total of $45 million as a compensation for her divorce. Michael has now moved on from his gloomy past relationship and has now got married to his wife, Catherine Zeta-Jones in 2000. With her, he has two children, a son,  Dylan Michal born on August 8, 2000, and a daughter, Carys Zeta born on April 20, 2003. 

4. MADONNA

In all these lists, we couldn't really miss the Queen of Pop, could we? The American singer, songwriter, actress, and businesswoman, Madonna Louise Ciccone is known mainly for pushing the boundaries of lyrical content in mainstream music. With her beauty and talent, she has been able to win the hearts of many but, her heart was one precious gem. Only a few guys could win her heart. One of those guys was Guy Ritchie. Madonna got married to her love Ritchie in 2000. 

They looked great together but, not every day's Sunday. The couple went through a heartbreaking divorce after 8 years of marital relationship in December 2008. Madonna filed for a divorce with Ritchie in 2008 for divorce from Ritchie. The reason? Irreconcilable differences! The two came to a settlement after Madonna agreed to pay Richie as much as $85 million. Besides, he also got the couple's London pub and residence and also the Wiltshire estate in England. 

3. TIGER WOODS

If you don't want to go through a divorce and pay a divorce settlement, then don't cheat on your wife with other women. Eldrick Tont Woods who is widely known as Tiger Woods is one of those who have been caught having extramarital affairs by his wife, Elin Nordegren.

The couple who got married in 2004 has gone through a divorce in 2010. As Tiger cheated on his wife, he was asked to pay $100 million by the court as the divorce settlement.

2. MICHAEL JORDAN

One of the famous NBA players, Michael Jordan has also paid a large amount of money to his ex-wife, Juanita Vanoy. The former couple who got married in 1989, signed an agreement which states that Juanita will receive half of the property of Michael after the divorce.

Unfortunately, Michael was compelled to pay as per the agreement after the divorce in 2006. He paid $168 million as well as Chicago mansion and custody of their kids.

1. ARNOLD SCHWARZENEGGER

Calling it quits in a relationship after knowing the extramarital affairs of your partner is the logical reason of divorce. The same thing was done by the Maria Shriver as she found her then husband, Arnold Schwarzenegger having extramarital affairs. Not only that, she also found him having a baby with that lady.

Even after Maria filed for the divorce, Arnold was delaying it for around four years as he was said to pay half of his property to Maria. Later on, Arnold was compelled to pay the amount of $375 million (half of his total net worth) following his divorce.
