UFC 223 could have turned out to be a big flop if Max Holloway hadn't stepped up to fill up the void. UFC 223: Ferguson vs. Nurmagomedov again came to an end after Tony injured his knees. This is the fourth time, the match was canceled and now many photographs and meme have covered the Internet. Fight Fans are not willing to accept the fact that Tony Vs Khabib is again grounded for an unlimited amount of time.
The freak accident reportedly happened while Tony turned around and reached out to say hi to someone he knew; a totally ridiculous story to believe but it indeed was a true one.
I'm told the injury to Tony Ferguson was literally caused by a trip. The freak accident of all freak accidents. He was walking, saw someone he wasn't expecting to see, veered sharply to say hello and tripped.

Was tony taking the match too seriously? Maybe he was, and what a brutal weight cut did to Khabib was done to Tony by a silly accident.
But it looks like all the fans are finding it difficult to swallow the hard pill and are not willing to accept that the match has fallen apart. Let's take a look at some of the social media posts from all MMA fans who are totally dissatisfied with this news.
No one can protect an Injury, that is exactly what Khabib had said previously and it came damn true. But being said that, It still can be a fool's day joke because things do look fishy here!
As we have seen Tony Kicking and Elbowing the iron bar in training sessions, this looks as if the joke was pulled out pretty well.

Let's check these facts which we think was totally wrong:
Dana White looked more than happy to announce that match has failed. Think about it, one of the most anticipated match in NY and the main card get's messed-up but the fight arranger and the CEO look super excited about it!

Another thing that fans failed to notice is "Max is Injured," isn't he? Well, think about it? Now it rings the bell, right?
Last but not the lease, Tony fell on the ground and tore his ligament, possible but very unlikely, and if you didn't escape the article then the way Tony was reported to have fallen is completely dramatic. As ESPN's reporters said it was several days ago, Tony was seen preparing for Salsa Off against Khabib just two days ago, take a look:
