After The New York Times released the report claiming Harvey Weinstein's sexual harassment and allegation, celebrities from Meryl Streep to Jennifer Lawrence stepped forward and spoke against him.

In an interview with Deadline, Matt Damon said that he was unaware of Weinstein's behavior. Though he worked together with Weinstein for around five to six movies, he never saw him involved in such activities. He added:

Look, even before I was famous, I didn’t abide this kind of behavior. But now, as the father of four daughters, this is the kind of sexual predation that keeps me up at night. This is the great fear for all of us.

In another side, in an interview with Daily Beast, George Clooney recalled the moment when Weinstein gave him the first break as an actor on From Dusk Till Dawn and first break as a director on Confessions of a Dangerous Mind. He also added that they have been on dinner and location together, but he never saw any of this behavior ever.

Matt Damon shared a story on ABC News's Michael Strahan and said "I knew the story about Gwyneth [Paltrow] from Ben [Affleck] because he was with her after Brad [Pitt], so I knew that story. I never talked to Gwyneth about it—Ben told me,

He furthermore added that Paltrow was the First Lady of Miramax and he treated her incredibly respectfully. But in an interview, Damon claimed:

Miramax was the place, really the place, that was making great stuff in the 90s. And it was like, ‘Could you survive Harvey?’

So people say, ‘everybody knew,’ like, yeah I knew. I knew he was an asshole—he was proud of that. That’s how he carried himself. I knew he was a womanizer. I wouldn’t want to be married to the guy. But the criminal sexual predation is not something that I ever thought was going on. Absolutely not.

Clooney revealed that Weinstein shared him about the women he had affairs with. But Clooney necessarily did not believe Weinstein.

On Sunday night's Los Angeles premiere, both Damon and Clooney explained Vanity Fair that these types of behavior wouldn't be anymore. He added:

If somebody as powerful as Harvey can be brought down by this, what we need is for it to filter all the way down to somebody who is a single mom, who’s a waitress, who’s getting harassed when she’s punching out [from her job], and she’s afraid to speak up because she’s going to lose her job and she needs her job.

Even though they stated about the sexual harassment and allegation of Harvey Weinstein, the road to the premiere of their film Suburbicon is all on Weinstein comments.
