51 years old versatile actress Renee Elise Goldsberry is married to New York attorney Alexis Johnson. The couple tied the knot back in 2002. And since their marriage, they are still together for nearly two decades.
But yet none of them have revealed whether they dated before their marriage or not. Well, the couple has two children; a son named Benjamin Johnson born in 2009, and a daughter Brielle Johnson born in 2013.

In an interview with People.com Goldsberry mentioned that the greatest wish for her children is that they fulfill their purpose. She further added,
“I know that all children, and in particular mine, are here for a reason.”
Furthermore, Goldsberry further added, that her path to motherhood was challenging, to say the least, and she always feels like she is living a Sliding Doors version of her life. Goldsberry admitted that her children make her laugh every single day — especially when they’re their most precocious.

American actress Renee Elise Goldsberry was born on January 2, 1971, in San Jose, California. However, she was raised in Houston, Texas and Detroit, Michigan. She is 51 years old as of 2022.
She attended Cranbrook Kingswood School and later graduated from the Carnegie Mellon University in 1993. Furthermore, Goldsberry received a master's degree in music from Thornton School of Music in 1997.
Soon after her graduation, Goldsberry started her television career and made a recurring role in Ally McBeal until 2002. After that, she further appeared in the series Ally.
Likewise, from 2003 to 2007, Goldsberry portrayed the role of Evangeline Williamson in One Life to Live for which she was nominated for NAACP Image Award.
