As mentioned above, Draya gave birth to Kniko when she was just 17 years old. For several years, she raised her son as a single mother.
After giving birth to her son, Michele began dating basketball player Gilbert Arenas raising speculation about him being the father of her child. Similarly, rumors about Gilbert paying $20,000 to media and online tabloids to shut down the news began circulating.
In addition, former Basketball Wives star Jennifer Williams alleged Arenas of being the father of Kniko. She even stated that she saw a mail saying Gilbert is his father.
The rumors were shut down after Draya opened up about the mystery man saying:
"At 17 years old I got pregnant by a man who became incarcerated for 10 when I was 7 months pregnant. With help from my mom, I was able to survive”
She also added: "Now, judging by how under-developed and young I was, besides living in a very small city in PA….. There’s no way in 2002 I got pregnant by some athlete. If I had, there’s not a chance in fucking hell I would have wasted 7 years of my life working “in the club” because clearly child support would be on fleek. I have never received A DIME of child support in my life and that’s ok."
Draya Michele & Orlando Scandrick's Relationship: Are They Still Together?
36-year-old actress and model began dating football cornerback Orlando Scandrick between 2014 to 2019. They first met in 2014 and began dating shortly afterward.
