After narcotics were found on the personal belongings left behind on a United flight arriving at the Washington Dulles International Airport on January 20, police did launch an investigation to find details about those narcotics traces.

Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority Police Department's spokesman, Rob Yingling explained to Deadline that those personal belongings belong to McGowan. Yingling said:
Our police have attempted to contact Ms. McGowan so that she can appear in a Loudoun County Virginia court to respond to the charge.
Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority Police Department obtained the warrant and was issued on February 1. The warrant was out for the star's arrest that surfaced after she brought it upon social media on Monday.
McGowan accused Weinstein of sexually harassing her and added that the warrant was one of the parts of a conspiracy to silence her. It's not known how and when the actress became aware of the warrant.
