What Roseanne Barr tweeted was offensive and there is no way around it.
Time for final thoughts.
Whether or not the tweet was intended as a joke, what Barr tweeted about Valerie Jarrett, former Barack Obama White House Adviser, was wrong. Even 65 years old stand-up comedian has admitted it after comparing Jarret to an ape.
Before making several apologies, the star on Tuesday wrote on her twitter that the Jarret, born in Iran was the child of the Muslim Brotherhood and Planet of The Apes. Later, she deleted the tweet.
“I apologize to Valerie Jarrett and to all American. I am truly sorry for making a bad joke about her politics and her looks. I should have known better. Forgive me my joke was in bad taste,” begging sorry Roseanne wrote on Twitter.
American conservative political commentator and former TV host Tomi Lahren furious on Barr tweet add voice and backfire to her pointing distancing herself from the former ABC star.
“What Roseanne said was wrong,” Lahren tweeted. “I’m sure she knows that. She made a mistake. I don’t know why fellow conservatives are playing mental gymnastics trying to justify it. Come on. Wrong is wrong.”

To all the Trump supporters outraged over the ABC/Roseanne double standard, I get it. Here’s the thing, we know we can’t get away with what the Left can. We have to be better. We have to rise to the occasion & act right. Our words are more powerful when we can stand behind them.
