In mid-September, the ferocious hurricane hit the Caribbean that left the majority of Puerto Rico without power. Elon Musk funneled some of the Tesla's resources to the island and forwarded the statement that he would help out.

The solar panels and storage batteries are not being set up at the Hospital del Nino which is a children's hospital in San Juan. Moreover, Tesla' founder Musk donated $250,000 for outgoing relief efforts.

Musk hoped that the Puerto Rico's government would have selected Tesla as the sole company to fix the electricity issue, but sadly it did not. Instead, a $300 million contract was awarded to the Whitefish Energy which is a company from the U.S with just two employees.
