In the year 1990, Kelly won Lady Paladin Invitation golf hosted by Furman University and from the year 1992 to 1996, she even played golf as a professional in America, Asia, and Europe. In the University, Kelly won the scholarship in women’s golf team.
Just because of Kelly’s closeness and fantasy with golf, The Golf Channel hired her as the course reporter. She served as the main play-by-play announcer for PGA Tour telecast.
