Million Mask March is a worldwide protester rally that started since 2013. It is associated with the hacktivist group Anonymous and began against militarization and police brutality for self- governance.

Ahead of 2017 event, Anonymous posted a 27-minute long YouTube video where he explained the event. He said:
Every November 5, the Million Mask March is a sign that humanity around the world is crying out for change.

Who was Guy Fawkes?
Guy Fawkes also popular as Guido Fawkes was one of the members of the English Catholics who planned the Gunpowder Plot of 1605.
The group was originated to blow up the House of Lords, but they were not able to accomplish their plan and failed. Later, Guy Fawkes along with his three other plotters were hanged and quartered on January 31, 1606.

So, November 5 is regarded as Guy Fawkes Night all over Britain. The Guy Fawkes Night is celebrated by setting off fireworks and burning a Guy Fawkes on a bonfire. The festival had Protestant spirit that began as a way to give thanks cause the Gunpowder Plot could not succeed which later fuelled anti-Catholic bigotry.
When does the Million Mask March take place?
Million Mask March's main march is held at Trafalgar Square in Central London on Sunday, November 5 at 6 pm. The event also coincides with Guy Fawkes Night, and the event ends up by 9 pm. According to Social Media, there are also similar events planned in Barcelona.

Does Violence take place at Million Mask March?
Over thousands of people actively participate in the rally. So, it is obvious that there is some disruption in the event. Previously, dozens of people were arrested.
There are series of conditions and restrictions on the protesters. For example; if the protesters do not move in the right place from the rally route then chances are they might get arrested.

The chief superintendent, Elaine Van-Orden said:
We have strong reasons to believe that peaceful protest is the last thing on the minds of some of those who will attend,
She furthermore added:
Criminality at the event has increased year-on-year. Arrests have increased from four in 2012 to 53 in 2016,
The police use body cameras to monitor the violence.
Focused Goals of 2017's Million Mask March
In one of the Facebook page, more than thousand people showed their interest in attending the London rally. The organizers claim that the government disregards the poor, migrants, elderly and disabled people. The organizers claimed:
We have seen the pushes to make the internet yet another part of the surveillance state
We have seen the capital, profit and greed of the few put before the well-being of the many and we say enough is enough.
The organizers openly explain enough is enough and now it's the time to play on owns. The rally was expected to play online and live-streamed.
