Nicole Curtis is an American TV personality who hosts home renovation show called ‘Rehab Addict’ and ‘Beach Flip’ broadcasted on HGTV. Apart from that, she is an interior designer, realtor and an inveterate up cycler.
Synopsis
Nicole Curtis was born in United States of America. She went to ‘Lake Orion High School and attended different college in Michigan and Florida. The skills of recycling and renewing are gifts that she cultured from her parents which later on developed into her passion and career. She is a single-mom and has a son named Ethan. Her first episode of ‘Rehab Addict’ aired on October 13th, 2010.
Early Life and Education
Nicole Curtis was born on 20th, August, 1976; in Lake Orion, Michigan, United States of America. Curtis was raised by a family of history enthusiasts which made her appreciate typical architecture around Detroit. From the very early age, she was taught to rehab, reprocess and renovate things as per her parent’s philosophy. Subsequently, it became her passion and that is what she decided to chase in her life.

Speaking about her education, she attended ‘Lake Orion High School’ in 1994; where she participated in numerous college programs, engaged herself in Hockey and also had dance training throughout her high school years. As per her college, she went to the college of Michigan and Florida while working at hooters.
Career
When Curtis’s grandmother 1890s home failed to sell in the market for what it was worth, she was heartbroken and the post-traumatic stress led Nicole to her current career. Prior to everything she has accomplished to this day, she worked as a waitress and was really smart enough to spy on every CEO she served. After graduation, Nicole started focusing on refurbishment and her first ever work with her own master bedroom gave her the confidence to pursue rehabbing as a career.
While working with a Minneapolis broker, she earned a guest spot on DIY Network renovation show called ‘Sweat Equity’. Her ease on camera made an imprint; and six months after the event, she was offered her own show named ‘Rehab Addict’ with producing credit.

In every episode of ‘Rehab Addict’, she takes ‘tumbled down’ homes and brings them back to their unique beauty, sharing redoing guidelines and entertaining viewers throughout the way. To this date, she has been salvaging old houses for nearly 2 decades now and inspiring her audiences to preserve ‘what is old’ across the whole United States and other nations as well.
In her extra time, she shares her abilities to ‘the LeBron James Family Foundation’, ‘Step Forward Michigan’, Habitat for Humanity’ and ‘S.A.Y. Detroit’. At present, she also runs a show called ‘Beach Flip’ alongside David Bromstad and Josh Temple. Though, the show has not gained much popularity like ‘Rehab Addict’, they are still working hard into it.

Personal Life
Speaking of her personal life, she got pregnant during her college days and has a son named ‘Ethan’ who was born in 1997, with her ex-boyfriend Steve Lane, who is a musician by profession. However, they failed to last their marriage and had to file a divorce. The separation made her go through hard times and she had to waste money and time in the process of divorce.

Furthermore, reports believe that she dated Shane Maguire for quite a while, who comes from a gangster family. However, the bond didn’t last as well and they had to separate their ways. As per Nicole’s parents, her mother named is ‘Joan Curtis’ and she hasn’t opened up about her father much on social sites yet.
Moreover, she uploaded a photo on July 6th, 2015; with her baby bump on display. And it is believed that the second child is with her ex-boyfriend Shane Maguire. The name of her second child is Harper and he was born in 2015. Following the birth of Harper, Curtis and Shane fought for the custody of their son, Harper.
