Jone Cena is lined up to give Duke Nukem's character a new life and it's official, reports suggest a talk in the process. As per some sources close to the WWE superstar Cena, he has moved into negotiation with the Andrew Form, Michael Bay, and Brad Fuller’s from Platinum Dunes banner production.
Duke Nukem’s star is a protagonist who spends his days fighting the extraterrestrials force that invaded the earth life. In late 1990 a franchise of Duke Nukem was proposed by Lawrence Kansaoff after huge success in a big banner film Mortal Kombat.
In 2001 Plans for filming the movie was announced by Threshold Entertaining Production but the movie was never given a green light. Since then it’s only now that we are finally hearing talks about upcoming Duke Nukem movie.

Reportedly, the project is now searching for screenwriters and it's still not clear who will direct the movie but here is a good news "At least we have the intended actor revealed."
The project is trying to make John, a starring vehicle for its promotion. The movie will be produced by Paramount studio and the rumors suggest that Producer-director Michael Bay has his eye on the project.
If we remember, Bay worked on some of the big action projects like 5 of the Transformer series and 2 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movies. So if he signs up as a director or producer, the action-packed movie will surely rock the big screens. Good for Cena, as he awaits a big Hollywood action movie after the hit animation movie Ferdinand.

Looking at Cena's relationship with Paramount, he shouldn't have any issue signing the Human Vs. Alian movie as he has already appeared in Daddy’s Home and its spinoff which was a Paramount-production. Further, Cena will appear in Bumblebee: The Movie, a Transformers' upcoming spinoff.
