Megyn Kelly never fails to make it on the headlines, not even once has she failed to give gossip an air and the same thing happened on NBC’s Megyn Kelly Today this week.
Yesterday, on 27th September Kelly interviewed Jane Fonda, 79, and actor Robert Redford over the course of a promotion of Netflix movie Our Souls at Night had an awkward sit-down with Megyn Kelly, where the two times Oscar-winning actress was shocked by the line of questions chosen by Kelly.
On September 27th Kelly interviewed Jane Fonda
The question surely looked a much awkward one as actress Jane looked uncomfortable with the series of questions raised by Megyn Kelly and she wisely shut Kelly's question driving it to the other side.
Robert and Jane in Megyn Kellly's today
Yesterday, during her appearance on NBC's show Megyn Kelly Today, Fonda Fonda was asked a question about going through the knife but she directed the question towards another corner and pointed her to stay on the whole purpose of the sit-down bringing up the reference of the actor Robert Redford and being short on time.
Here is what Kelly actually asked Fonda
“You’ve been an example to everyone in how to age beautifully and with strength and unapologetically, You admit that you’ve had work done, which I think is to your credit. And you look amazing. Why did you say, I read that you said, you’re not proud to admit you had work done. Why not?”
After knowing that the actress was shying away from the question, she further added
“Well, one of the things people think when they look at you is how amazing you look" avoiding the question with a statement that totally showed that she was not comfortable with the answer and said-
“We really want to talk about that right now?”
At first, the actress tried avoiding it and when Kelly was countering Fonda she naturally shifted the question out of the green room.
Being asked about her plastic surgery Fonda replied Kelly with something like this:
"Well thanks, Good attitude, good posture, take care of myself — but let me tell you why I love this movie, Our Souls at Night, rather than plastic surgery"
After her sitdown interview with Kelly she told ET Canada the following things:
“Given the fact that we don’t have a lot of time and [Robert Redford] is right here, it’s a weird thing to bring up – whether I’ve had plastic surgery or not. I have and I’ve talked about it. Seemed like the wrong time and place to ask that question”
Well, this question took another controversial turns as NBC's official are alleged to have tried their best to exclude the part and pressurised Megyn's team which seems a little bit offensive, so far the story is developing into a darker sitdown from Megyn Kelly and we will surely let you know if certain things develop in Fonda-Kelly interview drama.
