The 42-year-old model and actress Jamie King made headlines after splitting from her activist boyfriend Sennett Devermont. King began dating Devermont in December 2020 and went Instagram public back in August 2021.

The couple sparked dating rumors in November 2020 after King gushed about Sennett on his birthday. A month later, the couple was spotted grabbing takeout in West Hollywood which left many questioning their relationship status.
They confirmed their relationship in December 2020 and Jamie went Instagram public in August 2021. She posted a picture of Sennett and simply captioned it "i love you".

Unfortunately, things started taking rough turns in their relationship which eventually ended after 10 months.
As per a source close to the actress, the former lovers broke up at the "beginning of fall" and the relationship had "run its course."
The source added: "She filmed a movie and he was there for that, but then, in the summer, she filmed two movies away and he didn’t go. She was away from him for three months, and then it just kind of wasn’t there anymore".
As of now, neither the actress nor Devermont has commented or talked about their breakup publicly. Similarly, King was spotted solo during the 2021 DKMS Gala in New York City which literally confirmed the breakup news.
Who Was Jamie Dating Before Sennett?
Black Summer star was previously married to filmmaker and author Kyle Newman. They first met during the set of Fanboys in March 2006.
They began dating shortly after that and Newman proposed to King the following year. They exchanged their marital vows on 23rd November 2007 in an intimate and relaxed ceremony at Greystone Park and Manor in Los Angeles.
The former husband-wife welcomed their first child, son James Knight on 6th October 2013 and their second son, Leo Thames on 16th July 2015.

Sadly after 13 years of marriage, King filed for divorce from Kyle in May 2020. Similarly, she also filed a domestic violence prevention petition and was granted a temporary restraining order against Newman from coming within 100 yards of her.
They are currently sharing custody of their children and are waiting for the final agreement. After filing a divorce, while Jamie went and dated Sennett, Newman also began dating singer-songwriter Cyn aka Cynthia Nabozny.
Cyn and Newman welcomed their first child, son Etienne Noel Newman on 17th February 2021.
