Met On The Set

Margot and Tom first met on the set of her WWII film, "Suite Française," back in 2013. At that time, the actor was working as a third assistant director. She portrayed the character Celine Joseph in the film.

Reflecting on their early days, Margot shared with Vogue, "I was the ultimate single gal. The idea of relationships made me want to vomit." She admitted that she didn't expect to fall for Tom. "And then this crept up on me," she said.

"We were friends for so long. I was always in love with him, but I thought, Oh, he would never love me back. Don't make it weird, Margot. Don't be stupid and tell him that you like him." However, the love story unfolded unexpectedly, and Robbie realized, "And then it happened, and I was like, Of course we're together. This makes so much sense, the way nothing has ever made sense before."

The Postponement And Eventual Honeymoon

Robbie and Ackerley put their honeymoon plans on hold to work on the film "I, Tonya." Once the movie was finished, they finally got to enjoy their honeymoon in Tahiti.

During their time there, the couple had an unexpected encounter with Ellen Degeneres, her wife Portia de Rossi, and former US President Barack Obama

One amusing memory from the honeymoon involves Tom's choice of gym attire. He put on a pair of shorts that turned out to be more revealing than expected.

When Margot and her husband bumped into Ellen, Portia, and the former president at the hotel's gym, they ended up joining a stretching class. Tom tried his best to maintain his composure while wearing the revealing shorts, creating a humorous and memorable moment for the couple.

Margot's Potter Passion & Her Husband's Movie Link

Robbie besides her looks and acting is also known for her love of Harry Potter. She revealed on "The Graham Norton Show" that her husband has a connection to it which, she didn't know when she first met him.

The "Babylon" actress jokingly confessed, "My husband is in the Harry Potter movies. I know, I was like, 'Had you told me sooner we would've been married very quickly.'"

Margot shared that her husband was an extra in one of the films when he was a child. To be more specific, it was in a scene where Draco Malfoy pushes some kids aside to see Buckbeak in the third book. It was her husband that Tom Felton pushed.

The First Kiss

Margot Robbie reminisced about her first kiss with Matthew, which took place on Great Keppel Island. They shared this special moment on the beach during a chance encounter.

After their fleeting connection on the island, Margot found herself unable to forget about Matthew. She even tried to track him down through the phone book, hoping to reconnect with him. However, her search yielded no results.

Fate had other plans, though, as the actress and her first love unexpectedly crossed paths again. It was in high school at a house party. The surprise of seeing him again filled her with both shock and delight.

Margot's John Cena Obsessed Ex-boyfriend

In her late teens and early twenties, Margot had a boyfriend who had a major obsession with the wrestler, John Cena. This boyfriend was so infatuated with Cena that he even dressed up as him for his 21st birthday party. Not only that, but he also had a life-size cardboard cut-out of him proudly displayed in his bedroom.

Margot ended up sharing this room with the cut-out for two whole years. Sometimes, waking up in the middle of the night and seeing Cena's 2-D face in the corner would startle her.

Later, when Margot had the chance to work with Cena on the set of "Suicide Squad," she shared this amusing story with him, as mentioned in an article from the US Magazine.
