Eve Babitz, a visual artist and author is famous for her semi-fictionalized memoirs. She passed away on December 17, 2021. She was 78 years old. She died from Huntington's disease at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles.

Ahmet Ertegun

Eve Babitz and Ahmet Ertegun first crossed paths at a very fancy party. They hit it off and started dating in the year 1971. He was a Turkish-American businessman, songwriter, and record executive. 

Sadly, Ertegun passed away on December 14, 2006, at the age of 83. His death was caused by a brain injury he sustained when he fell backstage at the Beacon Theater during a Rolling Stones concert.

Harrison Ford

Babitz and Harrison Ford crossed paths at Barney's Beanery during the late 1960s. However, their relationship proved to be short-lived. It came to an end before the actor skyrocketed to fame with his iconic role of Han Solo in "Star Wars."

Eve Babitz and Ron Cooper shared a romantic connection at one point in their lives. It was revealed by him in an interview with Gordy Grundy. Their relationship reached a point where she even stayed with him for a couple of weeks. 

Ron recalled picking Eve up in his old Ford Station Wagon in the interview. Despite their decision to end their romantic involvement, their friendship endured. 

Interestingly, Babitz even took on the role of matchmaker. She attempted to set Ron up with the renowned singer Linda Ronstadt. However, his interest in this matchmaking endeavor was lukewarm at best.
