Dear Mama: A Love Letter to Moms a previously recorded TV event was set to feature the former 49ers quarterback honoring his mother.
Colin Kaepernick and her mom appeared on the VH1 show recorded on Thursday in Los Angeles that was broadcasted on Monday night. When he walked across the stage to tell his story about growing up adopted, he met a standing ovation.

“As a child, I would draw family pictures in Kindergarten, fully aware of that fact that I had to switch the colors of the crayons,” he said of his parents, who are from white ethnicity. “While I did wonder who I looked like, I never had to wonder whether my mother my mother loved me or not.”
Before Teresa Kaepernick took the stage the player delivered a heartfelt speech to his parents who adopted him and raised him in Turlock. The proud mom emotional with the son speech shared some proud moments since the day Kaepernick came into her life.

Teresa a working mother worked night shifts so that she can take care of her children when the left for school and pick them up in the afternoon. She was always supporting Kaepernick’s dream even it was game of football which she can’t make sense out of it.
Like being a good mama is to support no matter what and if we measure Teresa’s success as a mother, she is definitely one of the best mothers. While the tribute was supposed to be given to his mother, Teresa took the opportunity to share the proud moments she and her husband felt after welcoming NFL player.
