After receiving more than 40 stitches in face Carrie Underwood is seen walking shadowy streets and tears flows in the moody new video “Cry Pretty.”
On Sunday, May 6, Carrie Underwood marked a new milestone revealing first music video for “Cry Pretty” since a horrible accident back in November 2017 left her no choice but to take more than 40 stitches on her adorable face and a broken wrist.
The single from Underwood’s forthcoming 6th studio album finds the fourth season of American Idol winner in 2005, crying in the shower before she makes a triumphant return to the stage handling popularity pressure in the middle of the crowd.

We can see many close-ups shot of Underwood’s face when tears flow in the shower, she looks flawless despite the earlier accident as she looks in the camera.

She debuts the song on April 11, 2018, and sings the single after two days in an emotional performance at the ACM Awards. Before it, she released Single “The Champion” serving the NBC’s broadcast-opening theme for Super Bowl LII in the month of January and remained silent following the accident until April 2018.
She is set to perform at Nashville’s Nissan Stadium as part of CMA Music Festival following month.
