Anna and her fiancé Alex Anfanger have welcomed her first child, daughter Essie Wunderle Anfanger. On 7th May 2021, during an interview with PEN15, the 34 years old actress revealed that she welcomed her first child, daughter, earlier this year.
Explaining her baby’s name, Anna revealed that the middle name came from her father’s side of the family in honor of him. She said:
The Wunderles were known to have strong, forward-thinking women. And my great-great-grandfather, also a Wunderle, went from selling sweets from a street cart to having a large factory where candy corn was invented.
Anna hopes that her daughter appreciates the name instead of resenting them for giving her a difficult-to-spell name.
The actress surprised the fans in January, revealing that she was due any second now. On 29th January 2021, Anna uploaded a series of pictures on her Instagram. She wrote: It only took me nine months to post, but the family is expanding any second now.

Opening up about pregnancy, the Plus One star revealed that they found out in May. During the time, Anna was in Lake Arrow, whereas Alex was in Los Angeles. They had to celebrate the special moment on FaceTime.
Her pregnancy overlapped with her costar Maya Erskine. Erskine welcomed a baby boy, Leon Frederick, with actor husband, Michael Angarano.

Rosewood’s star, in the interview, also opened up about her engagement. The screenwriter revealed that Alex popped out the question while she was listing things she was grateful for in the past year.
Anna thanked 90 Days Fiance for connecting her with Alex, who is hours of entertainment for her. While revealing her pregnancy back in November, the actress also revealed her engagement.
For now, Anna and Alex are currently focusing on their kid and enjoying their time. The duo has not spoken anything about their plans for the wedding.

Anna started her professional career in 2013, appearing as Enid in the television series Betas. The following year, she appeared in New Girl.
