Wolf Blitzer and wife,Lynn Greenfield, married since 1973, going through a rough patch??

Wolf Blitzer, considered by many to be the world’s leading political anchor, has been married to his wife Lynn Greenfield for over forty-three years now. Wolf and Lynn have one daughter from their Forty-three years of marriage. Their daughter is named Ilana Blitzer Gendelman, who is also a News anchor at NBC.

Recently there were rumors speculating that Wolf and Lynn had hit a rough patch in their marriage. However, Wolf jointly with Lynn addressed the rumors by saying, “We are old people, we don’t hit rough patches. That is for the young, not us.” 

Wolf and Lynn have had a happy married life and to this day are seen going out for dinners and attending important functions together. They are one of the most respected couples in the journalism sphere in the USA. Lynn has remained out of media attention, unlike her husband. She spends most of her time gardening and is a reputed Gardner and deemed to be one of the best florist in Northern America.

Wolf Blitzer is a commanding name in the sphere of political journalism in today’s world. Wolf began his journey as a presenter in Israel having moved there after getting his Master’s Degree in International Relations. Blitzer spent the most part of his career analyzing Middle East conflicts and problems.

Wolf’s major work includes his interview with accused American spy Jonathon Pollard. To this day, Wolf is the only person in the world who has interviewed him and brought for his case to the public and media.  

During his time in the Middle East, Wolf wrote several articles in Hebrew which were rudimentary for any hope of peace in the Middle East and also inspired a generation of Israelis to work hand in hand with their conflicted neighbors to bring peace in the Middle East.

In the early ’90s, Wolf was called in by CNN to be their lead journalist in military affairs. Wolf started his career in this field just when the Cold War had come to an end and to this day remains to be the first western journalist to visit the KGB headquarters in Moscow.

Wolf, on his return from Moscow, was made CNN’s chief White House correspondent, a position he held till 1999. During this period, Wolf won his first of many major awards. The first being an Emmy award for his outstanding contribution to the field of journalism on his takes on the Oklahoma City Bombing.

Over the years, Wolf has done various prominent shows for CNN and in the year 2013, the show CNN newsroom was subsequently handed over to Wolf. Wolf’s style of work has been known to be very serious and intricate. He has also been commended for always tacking subjects in a serious manner.

Wolf is 67 years of age and after having a successful career spanning over 50 years, he has said he wants to work well into his seventies.  Wolf is also the most followed person from CNN on Twitter with over 825K followers.
