Sophia was extremely traumatized with her divorce. She even told to E-News the things she learned after divorcing Chad. As for Murray, when he was asked in an interview if he still stays in touch with her ex-wife, he said,
That's such an interesting question, but my mother once said to me that if you don't have anything nice to say, not to say anything at all.
This clearly explains that they are not in touch since their divorce.
After Sophia's divorce
After Sophia divorced Chad, she started dating Google program manager Dan Fredinburg. Even though she had started dating someone else soon after her divorce, she said that she is not ‘Getting Married’ yet. No wonder their relationship didn’t last for more than a year. Later in her life, she dated other two co-stars of One Tree Hill, one James Lafferty (2008-2009) and the other Austin Nicholas (2008-2012).

However, in a recent interview with Sophia Bush, she explained that she would not be looking for “The One” anymore. She said,
In my 20s, when I was starting out my career as an actor, I wasn’t looking for a relationship, but one found me and became serious, even though I hadn’t planned to settle down until my 30s. But when the person you’re with asks you to marry him, you think: This must be happening because it’s supposed to.
It looks like Sophia has had enough from the divorce with Chad Murray. Hearing her views in various interviews, it becomes clear that she won't be waiting for Prince Charming from now on.
She will just marry the guy when the time comes and everything favors. Let's hope that her second marriage doesn't give her another traumatic experience.
