Back in 2014, he was arrested for selling drugs. Once in a show in Florida, he also kicked a female fan in the chest. After spending two years in jail, he was finally set free.

Kevin Gates married Wife Dreka Haynes
Kevin Gates got married when he was still inside the jail on 17th October 2015. His wife is Dreka Haynes who he had been dating for a long time. He even has two children with his wife, a son named Khaza Kamil Gates and a daughter Islah Koren Gates.
