Jamie Dimon Diagnosed with a throat Cancer
After living so many happy years of married relation, Jamie and Kent's married life faced an extremely painful situation. It was the time after the JP Morgan CEO diagnosed with a throat cancer in 2014. On July 1, 2014, Jamie explained through an internal letter to his staff and shareholders that he was recently diagnosed with a throat cancer and will soon receive a treatment.

He then revealed that “the prognosis from my doctors is excellent, the cancer was caught quickly, and my condition is curable.” Later on, he also informed his employees that he would run the bank despite being diagnosed with cancer.
As soon as Jamie came to know about his throat cancer, he carried a radiation and chemotherapy to cure his fatal disease. He continued his treatment for a complete eight weeks which ended in September 2014. After that treatment, he hasn't faced the recurring problem and currently he is living a healthy life.
