Alexis Maas was once walking alone on the beach holding an empty wine glass near Johnny Malibu's home where Johnny Carson saw her and offered to fill the glass for her. This was the first time Alexis and Johnny met. Soon after knowing each other, Alexis and Johnny started dating. The couple dated for a couple of years and got engaged in December and married on June 20, 1987.
