Linda Evangelista, original supermodels in the eighties and nineties and member of the’ BIG SIX’, the most famous supermodels of the 1990s, including Naomi Campbell, Cindy Crawford, Kate Moss , Christy Turlington Burns and Claudia Schiffer started her career when she was just 16 years of age when she took part in the Miss Teen Niagara beauty pageant, where she was spotted by a representative from Elite Model Management.

She went on to become a legend in the modeling career and had the most successful career anyone could imagine. She has appeared on more than 700 magazine covers in her career.

The eighties and nineties were ruled by her. In the 90s, she went on to become the longtime muse of photographer Stephen Meisel and one of the best-paid models in the world, famously stating in 1990: 'We don't wake up for less than $10,000 a day.'

A supermodel, who had a blooming career even in her forties, still lives in the kingdom of fashion.

In 2015, she appeared in several places, she was chosen by Canadian department store Hudson Bay as the face of the spring 2015 campaign for its luxury clothing section called The Room, she was also seen at the FiFi Awards. In October, Evangelista appeared on the cover of a book showcasing the work of hat designer Philip Treacy titled Philip Treacy: Hat Designer. Also in October, Evangelista starred in the campaign for Moschino's newest fragrance Fresh, photographed by Meisel.

This year, In celebration of the 100th anniversary of British Vogue, a photograph of Evangelista originally taken in 1991 was chosen as the cover image for the book Vogue 100: A Century of Style, released in February. 

In April , Evangelista appeared on the cover of Zoo Magazine’s 50th issue.

 Evangelista also graced the cover of the book Age of the Supermodel, which features photographs taken by photographer Donna DeMari during the haute couture collections in Paris in 1991.
