What we know about Bill Hader's new HBO comedy pilot so far.

The multi-dimensional, brilliant actor, voice actor, comedian, and writer is best known for his performance on Sunday Night for which he was nominated for Emmy Awards.

According to Deadline, the pay network HBO has ordered a half-hour comedy pilot called Barry, in which Hader is going to co-write, direct and star.

Hader would follow the role in the series as “ex-Marine who works as a low-rent hitman in the Midwest. Lonely and dissatisfied in his life he begrudgingly travels to Los Angeles to kill someone and ends up finding an accepting community in a group of eager hopefuls within the LA theater scene.”

In simple words to say, he would be characterized as an ex-Marine whose present day activities contain murder with an existence marred by loneliness and frustration as he is a cute hitman settled on the Midwest.

Alec Berg, the executive producer of Silicon Valley, will co-write and produce the pilot with Hader.

Hader acting in the series is the first point of awesomeness here, and the second aspect is the exceptional narrative Barry will follow. And the third aspect is he is not only the actor here but also the writer, executive producer, and director.

Hader being on HBO as Barry would be excellent from each and every point. Hader is hoped to be picked and chosen from the plethora of actors; he has worked in the past to co-star with Barry.

Bill order acts as the series lead for Barry.

The proficient actor has starred in everything from The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby to The Awesome to Inside Out, with tons of stuff in between. On South Park, he also did some writing on. He last appeared on the big screen in Trainwreck, and he will be playing another titular character in Steven Spielberg’s BFG.

The actor is working hard on his tight schedule.
