Jack Wagner has been working with his ex-wife Kristina Wagner in Hallmark's series, 'When Calls the Heart'. According to reports, the ex-couple are appearing together in the second season of the series along with Lori Loughlin.
Talking about the series, in US weekly, Jack said, " I think we both are apprehensive, both are little nervous". Talking about joining up with his ex-wife, he stated, "She's just a sweet, genuinely loving person that's who she is, so the crew member have just fallen in love with her".
According to the sources, Jack was the guy, who convinced his ex-wife to be part of the series. “As the President of the series, Bill Abbott gave him the choice.” "Sure enough, I passed (the idea) to her, she started on the show and it's just been fantastic" Jack said.
Fans are looking forward to seeing the couple together once more. They are expecting a little more romance than the previous series, 'The General Hospital'.
"I know the emotion and the real beauty Kristina had on it, his chemistry our roles had, really builds through this season" Jack revealed.
Jack Wagner met his ex-wife on the sets of the show, "The General Hospital" where she played his love interest, Felicia Scorpio. They started dating in late 1990s and got married in 1993. They enjoyed their married life for almost thirteen years and have two kids together, Peter and Harrison. With the years passing by, they had lots of personal differences in their relationship. They finally divorced in 2006.
After they separated, they still kept in touch with each other because of their children. Wagner adores his kids and so does his wife. He says, ' We get along great, and we're very present parents and very good friends'.
Besides his two sons, he has a daughter, Kerry. He met his daughter twenty-three years after her birth. In 2011, when Wagner was set to leave his green room, he heard the sound of banging the door. As he opened the door, a girl hugged her. "[She] holds me and squeezed me and I said, 'Wait a minute,'" he recalls. "She says, 'You don't know who I am, do you?'"
He told her he didn't recognize her and was shocked to hear what she said.
"She says, 'I'm your daughter,'" Wagner says.
He knew that he had a daughter. But this revelation came as a shock to him. In 1988, Wagner got a call from a lady with whom he'd had a fling with. The woman told Wagner that she had a baby with him, and was giving her to an orphanage.
"She was in position where she felt she wasn't able to raise Kerry, so she made a difficult choice", Wagner said.
"When she did come in my life in that very unusual way, she went on the cruise with me. We spent five days together getting to know each other and connecting," he says. "And we did a DNA test. She is my daughter."
With time, Wagner has been able to strengthen his bond with her. He adores her and they have together made some memories over the past few years.
