“Everybody Wants Some!!” made a smashing release on March this year! The movie received acclamation from the critics accompanied by rave reviews. The movie is about a group of baseball players navigating their way through the freedoms and responsibilities of unsupervised adulthood. But what makes this movie more important to the audience is the presence of Tyler Hoechlin! Yes, the same Tyler who played Derek Hale on MTV’s Teen Wolf.
Tyler Hoechlin plays the best player of the 1980 Texas college baseball team, Glen McReynolds. McReynolds is portrayed in the movie as the guy with the bulgiest muscles, the most luxuriant mustache and a cocksure grin of a guy who is sure of his future as a pro-athlete. Buzzfeed cited him as “the distilled essence of douchebaggery who grinds every newcomer into the dirt and is the worst at handling losses”.

In an interview with GQ, Tyler talked about his experience in the movie,
“It was instant. The first day we got there, we all played a game of touch football. Rick was all-time QB. And it was amazing, man. I haven’t been with a group of dudes just hanging out, playing football, talking sports, just shooting the shit in such a long time, where that’s all you’re there to do. It’s like going out and playing college ball. It was just much more creative.”

Well despite Glen’s image as an asshole, you can’t help but admire his physical magnificence and baseball skills. Tyler Hoechlin definitely did a great job! He always has that magic!
