Another loss to the music industry. The legendary Musician-singer Tom Petty died at the age of 66 today suffering from cardiac arrest as confirmed by different media and Petty's near sources. After, a certain confusion about his death, The Heartbreakers' lead is confirmed dead this morning.

He was rushed to UCLA Santa Monica Hospital after being discovered suffering a cardiac arrest at his Malibu residence, California on Sunday and the series of confusion surrounded Tom.

After being followed by a lot of speculation of brain death and removal of life support another apology from LAPD this morning said he was alive. But Tom Petty finally rests in peace after his family agreed to remove his life support system as he lived with no brain function.
