Happy Birthday, Suri!

It feels like yesterday when we caught the first glimpse of Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes’ daughter Suri all tiny and bundled up in her daddy’s coat on the cover of October 2006 cover of Vanity Fair.

Fast forward to 2016, the kid is 10 now. We saw Suri grow up right in front of our eyes and the young lady has now grown up to be a splitting image of her mother

Suri celebrated her 10th birthday with mommy Katie Holmes in New York City! The mother-daughter duo was spotted walking hand-in-hand with the birthday girl dolled up in an all-pink ensemble.

"Suri enjoyed a low-key pre-birthday lunch Sunday with Katie, her maternal grandparents, and two young girlfriends at Tavern on the Green," reports PEOPLE’s source.

Rather than cake and a rousing rendition of 'Happy Birthday,' Suri and her pals quietly opted for freshly-baked cookies from Tavern on the Go before heading off into sunny Central Park,"

Holmes took it to Instagram to announce her sweet daughter’s 10th birthday, posting an artwork captioned,

“So grateful for my favorite day of the year!!!!!! Happy Birthday to my sweet angel Suri???”

This time as well, Tom Cruise was nowhere to be seen near Suri. The actor who is busy in filming “The Mummy” was spotted in London. DailyMail reveals the actor moved to London on Monday.

Last year Holmes opened up about being a single mother in an interview with PEOPLE,
“Am I enough? Am I doing enough? Have I seen her enough?”

“Guess what? You're not enough, she hasn't seen you enough, and you’re horrible: That's how it can feel sometimes. You do the best you can. Some days you feel really good about yourself and some days you don't. Her mother and nanny are of great help, she has said, and she has 'girlfriends of all ages, who have children of all ages. I lean on them. So I do have help, yes, but it's your baby, you know? You want to be the one who is there.

In late March, Katie treated her daughter Suri to a VIP experience when she took Suri to watch the School of Rock on Broadway.
