With a desire to rule the WNBA Sue was a dedicated basketball player in her high school. There she was awarded player of the Year and the New York State Player of the Year. As her talent grew, she was searched out by the WNBA and in 2002 the Seattle Storm picked her out during WNBA draft.

In 2011 NBA All-star game Sue Bird was listed in the top 15 best WNBA players of all time. It’s no stretch considering that she has been seven-time WNBA All-Star, not to mention the Olympic Gold Medal. With her height, that reach 1.75m she has an average height as a player who utilizes it perfectly.

Despite her successful career, she has not been free from injury. Sue suffered from an injury on her hips and knee undergoing three surgeries since 2011. Now, after those surgeries were successful, she is slowly coming back to her play.

“Even though I rehabbed and I recovered and I played (in 2014 and 2015), I wasn’t where I needed to be."

Bird is the three-time gold medalist in FIBA World Championships having won in 2002, 2010, and 2014. She also won a bronze in 2006.

With Sue’s four Olympic gold in 2004, 2008 and 2012 and 2016 we are really excited this year. Will she take her team to fourth consecutive Olympic win in Rio? We sure hope so.

Despite being 5 feet 9 inches tall, she is considered an average height. When it comes to her looks she is beautiful and her height perfectly compliments her beauty. As a basketball player, she likes to keep her body in tone and exercises regularly.

Talking about her personal life, she seems to be very secretive about her love life. Although she was reported to be dating Backstreet Boyzs’ Nick Carter back in 2002 nothing more has been revealed. Her name has not been affiliated with other boys suggesting that she may indeed be single now.
