10 Emmy-Award winner Steven Bochco who created several hit TV show including NYPD Blue, LA Law and Hill Street Blues, MD dies at the age of 74.
Steven Bochco producer-writer is known for creating hit police drama like Hill Street Blues died on April 1, 2018. According to Bochco’s personal assistant Phillip Arnold, he died on Sunday after fighting with leukemia.
Bochco was diagnosed with leukemia years ago. He died asleep and during his death, he was surrounded by his family member.
In five decades-spanning career, legendary TV producer created and produced TV shows that won critical acclaim and left a lasting impact on TV network. When Bochco was alive he battled the networks over creative control and his win includes casting Neil Patrick Harris in the role of Doogie Howser and presenting partial nudity on NYPD Blue TV series.
For Bochco Hollywood was life. His most of the family members are connected to Hollywood. His first wife actress Barbara Bosson co-starred in Hill Street. His wife Dayna was a TV executive and of 3 sons Jesse has become a proficient TV director.
