Stacy Keach talks about his new show, Crowded

American actor and narrator, Stacy Keach, who is mostly known for his dramatic roles, talks about his new show, Crowded. Crowded is an American sitcom created by Suzzane Martin and produced by Martin, Sean Hayes and Todd Milliner through their Hazy Mills Productions in association with Universal Television.

In an interview with Stephanie Stephens, Stacy Keach talks about his new show. This multi-camera sitcom, Crowded is recorded in front of a live studio audience. The series was green-lit to order by NBC on May 7, 2015. The show debuted on March 15, 2016 as a mid-season entry in the 2015-16 television seasons.

In the NBC’s new comedy, Crowded, Stacy Keach plays Bob, Carlease Burke plays Alice, Patrick Warburton plays Mike and Carrie Preston plays Martina.  Stacy talks about the ‘boomerang’ generation returning to share a home after previously being on their own. In the series, Mike and Martina put aside their plans to relish their newfound freedom when their two grown up daughters Stella (Mia Serafino) and Shea (Miranda Cosgrove) unexpectedly move in with them. Bob and Alice, the older parents also move back in with their son, Mike and his wife, Martina, adding an extra layer of complexity and humor to a crowded situation.

Stacy tells that producer and writer Suzanne Martin called upon her own experiences as she created this show about too much family in one place.

Stacy adds that the show is also a reflection of what’s going on in his life and in Patricks’s life.

Mostly identified with the role of detective Hammer in a 1984 TV series, Mickey Spillane’s Mike Hammer, Keach has won numerous awards, including Obie Awards, Drama Desk Awards and Vernon Rice Awards.  As of 1983, he had won three Obies for his work in ‘Long Day’s Journey into Night’, ‘Macbird’ and a 1972 revival of ‘Hamlet’.

Stacy Keach has portrayed his convincing screen performances in nearly hundred movies like The Long riders, Butterfly, Ring of Death, Planes, The Bourne Legacy and Nebraska to name a few. The number of TV shows is also mind-boggling, with notables including Mike Hammer, Private Eye, Prison Break and Titus. He will soon be seen in the movie, Gold with Matthew McConaughey.

The actor, at 74 years of age has been married four times: to Kathryn Baker in 1964, to Marilyn Aiken in 1975, to Jill Donahue in 1981, and to Malgosia Tomassi around 1986. After his three failed marriages and divorces, he has been married to Malgosia for thirty years. He has two children, Shannon Keach and Karolina Keach from his fourth marriage.

Stacy Keach, a voice actor, a musician and a preeminent stage actor, has an estimated net worth of $4 million dollars.
