Starting with their engagement, Montogomery and Payton got engaged on November 8, 2020. Before that, they dated each other for some time. The pair decided to take their relationship to the next level and exchanged wedding vows on June 18, 2021. The lavish ceremony was held in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.
Furthermore, the officiant was Avery Johnson, the New Orleans native who heeded up a 16-year playing career in the NBA with head coaching stints for both NBA and college teams. After dating each other for a long time, they tied the knot in 1992. They became parents to two children, a daughter named Meghan, born in 1997 and a son, Connor, born in 1999.
The family of four lived in various places. But after some time, the bond between Payton and Shuey began getting sour. So, the former couple filed for divorce in June 2012.
