Scott Speedman began his journey in the Underworld franchise as Michael Corvin, opposite Kate Beckinsale in Underworld. Michael was bitten first by Lucian and later by Selene, he becomes the second Lycan/Vampire Hybrid.
Speedman won a Saturn Award for his role.
Scott appeared in the sequel to the franchise, Underworld: Evolution, reprising the role of Michael Corvin. Archive footage of Speedman appeared in the 2012 Underworld: Awakening and his facial likeness was digitally imposed onto a stand-in for shots at the beginning and end of the film.
Producer Richard Wright stated that Speedman will return to the series if a fifth film series is made. Underworld 5: Blood Wars which is set to release in 2016, released the final cast and crew for the movie, but Speedman’s name wasn’t there! Yes, Scott Speedman won’t be returning for the fifth sequel of the Underworld franchise, Underworld: Blood Wars as against the producer’s words.
Fans are pretty excited about the movie; the title release itself captured a lot of attention we have to wait and see what the Trailer does.
Although the critics have not been thoroughly impressed by the previous Underworld movies, the fans are totally favoring the movie. This sequel is expected to change the views of the critics by exceeding their expectations. Fans are also awaiting the release with great enthusiasm.
The shooting is mostly taking place in the Czech Republic capital and expected to be released on 14th October 2016.
