Radek Stepanek was beaten down by Andry Murray at Madrid open. Murray took two hours and 16 minutes to down off the 37-year-old player Stepanek with 3-6 6-1 wins over him.
Murray defeated 37 years old Stepanek who is ranked 148 in the world, in three sets of the game.
The Scottish professional lawn-tennis player Murray said- "Not a lot of the match was played on my terms. It was very tough"
Now he will be facing the second round 16th seed Giles Simon or Pablo Busta on Saturday in the third round.
It was heard that the world number two Murray had worked very hard for the success.
Last year also, Murray beat Rafael Nadal in last year’s Madrid final. Since then he has been working hard and was considered to give a promising performance.
Murray and Nadal are on the way to meet in the semi-finals this time. We wish better luck to both of them.
