Carly Hannah Chaikin(born March 26, 1990), grew up in Santa Monica, California, is an American Hollywood actress. She is the daughter of a cardiologist father and a psychotherapist mother, who was raised Jewish. Carly began her career when she was of 17 years old in 2009 and received her breakout role in 2011, co-staring as Dalia Royce in the ABC sitcom Suburgatory until the series' cancellation in 2014 whereas in 2015, began playing the role of Darlene in the USA Network thriller drama series Mr. Robot.

Early Career(2009- 2011)
According to Wikipedia, Carly was interested in acting when she was 11 years old and decided to forgo college and dedicate herself to acting. Chaikin landed the role of Veronica in the film The Consultants in 2009, released December 4, 2010, in the US. Chaikin starred alongside Miley Cyrus in the film adaptation of Nicholas Sparks's The Last Song in the same year, initially released in the US on March 31, 2010. She played the role of Blaze as the antagonist of the film, a rebel that stirs up trouble for Ronnie, played by Cyrus.
2014–present: Mr. Robot
In September 2014, she was cast in the USA Network TV series, Mr. Robot, starring Rami Malek ("Elliot") and Christian Slater ("Mr. Robot"). She plays the programmer Darlene, one of the show's central characters, who is a member of the social group and writes malicious rootkit code. The shows won the Audience Award for Episodic TV shows at the 2015 SXSW film festival.
It was announced in Feb 2021 that Chaikin was developing her television series Messy with Miramax TV. Chaikin will star in the show, which she also wrote and will be shown running with producer Liz Brixius.
