Poker Champion Victoria Coren Mitchell welcomes new baby girl with husband David Mitchell

In May this year, Victoria Coren Mitchell and her husband David Mitchell became proud parents of a baby girl for the first time!!

‘We've got a daughter!!! Barbara Elizabeth June Mitchell, very small and sweet. All three of us are extremely happy and sleepy,’ posted Mitchell on Twitter.

Victoria had not been online for quite a while. So shortly before the announcement of her daughter’s birth, she apologized by saying that she had “been developing a new project". Turns out, it was a pretty cute development!!

She tied the knot with actor and comedian David Mitchell. The couple got married in a lavish intimate church ceremony. Victoria looked hot in a traditional fishtail bridal dress which had laced sleeves and a figure hugging bodice.

Victoria, age 43, is also a professional poker player. She made poker history last year, by becoming a two-time winner of the European Poker Tour. She won a cash prize of £391,932 and a watch worth more than £4,000 by defeating 556 contenders in Sanremo, Italy.

She won the tournament for the first time in the year 2006 and became the first woman to ever win the event. She has won over a £1.5 million so far.

"I WON! I bloody WON!!!!!!" tweeted the Only Connect host after beating her Italian opponent Giacomo Fundaro.

‘Sorry for that language on Easter Sunday. But I WON!!!!!! That is at least partly thanks to the amazing support, God bless everyone xxxxxxx,’ she tweeted after winning the tournament.

While accepting the trophy, she said, "People in poker know it's about showing a profit.”

"The minute I won 8,000 euros (£6,576) it was a good trip. But tens of thousands of people [on Twitter] got behind me. I thought I'd be happy with sixth, but also thought they'd be disappointed."

"I kept calling my husband during the breaks asking, 'Is sixth place all right? Fifth place?'” she added.

"I thought perhaps I should have been saying, 'You must be first!' Not, 'Eighth seems great'” said her husband.

"Meanwhile, I wish my own hangover was down to drinking after the tournament. Rather than during. #backtofront,” she tweeted , hinting being drunk after the tournament.

Victoria did a history about Bohemian painters, poets, pioneers and provocateurs for BBC Four. The show is divided into 3 different legs.

"Bohemians confuse me tremendously. I don't know whether to find them exciting and inspiring, or annoying and threatening. Possibly all four at once. From these mixed feelings, I know I must be a bourgeois,’ said Victoria.

"But I've never been fully immersed in Bohemian circles before. I'll be interested to find out whether I end up running into their open-minded embrace, or running screaming away," she added.
