Phil Davis vs. 'King Mo' : Davis earns title shot.

On the  Saturday night match, (May 14) Phil Davis earned a title shot at the light heavyweight title with a unanimous decision over Muhammed Lawal at Bellator 154.

 

The victory earns Davis a title shot against light heavyweight champion Liam McGeary.

Davis, who was looking forward to Bellator 154 tweeted,

After winning a title shot against the light heavyweight champion, Davis tweeted,

McGeary, in response to Davis’s win, said,"I hope you stand up like that with me because I'm knocking you out, definitely."

Davis is not at all startled by whatever McGeary had to say,  Davis answered him right back by saying "To that I say, 'Good luck.'"

We are looking forward to the match as well!
