Peter Crouch seen around town with wife Abbey Clancy, approves of Xherdan Shaqiri transferring to Stoke City over Twitter

Looks like Peter crouch approves of Xherdan Shaqiri transferring to his current team, Stoke City. After rumors spread of Internazionale mid fielder Shaqiri joining Stoke City, Crouch wrote on Twitter: “Shaquiri ????????” Just minutes later, he followed with another tweet, “Yeah I spelt it wrong but think the signing is right ????????”

While there have been no confirmations yet, rumors of Shaqiri joining the Stokes has been floating around for quite a while now. Fans are expecting Shaqiri to accept the £12 million transfer. This transfer is going to be a major deal for both the team and Shaqiri.

Crouch, who recently had a baby girl, Liberty Rose with wife, Abbey Clancy, plays as forward for Stoke City. Crouch and Clancy have one other daughter, Sophia Ruby (age 4). The Clancy-Crouch family supposedly spent father’s day together. This was the first time the couple was seen out in public with Liberty Rose since her birth last month.

Crouch’s wife, Clancy is a British catwalk and lingerie model. The couple got engaged in July, 2009 after dating for three years. The couple got married at Stapleford Park Hotel in Leicestershire on 30 June, 2011. Clancy was also participant on the eleventh installment of the British TV show Strictly Come Dancing, which she won. Crouch was highly supportive of her throughout her stay on the show, urging his fans to vote for her. In an interview, when asked about Clancy’s dancing skills, Crouch said, "I'd like to think I've given her some tips but I'm nowhere near to be honest - she's miles better than me.”

"I've only got the robot in my locker that's it!" This was in reference to his infamous robotic dancing goal celebration.  He first performed this celebration in the summer of 2006, after he scored a goal for England against Hungary.  He later performed it the same year after he scored against Jamaica on 3 June. In 2007, Crouch said he would never repeat the move unless he scored in UEFA Champions League Final. However, he did a version of the dance on 1 April, 2009 after he scored against Ukraine during England’s World Cup Qualifier. This dance won him the nickname “RoboCrouch”

Apart from his robotic dance deserving goals, Standing at a height of 2.03 m, Crouch is still an asset to Stoke City. While he might not be a fan favorite, he has managed to stay relevant to his team and his country, He was a major asset to England in the 2006 and 2010 World Cup Tournaments. On August, 2011, Stoke City announced his signing into the team, he has scored for the team on several occasions. He scored both the goals in the 2-1 victory against BlackBurn on 2 January, 2012. On 28 February, he scored the winning Goal in the 1-0 victory against Hull City.

While Crouch is active on Twitter, Instagram doesn’t seem to be his forte. His wife Clancy, however, can be seen posting pictures (sometimes even raunchy pictures of the couple) on her account quite often.
