Domino Kirke’s Father Simon Kirke is a Rockstar
Domino Kirke, a doula and a musician, may not be famous in her own right, but she has famous parents. She was born to Bad Company drummer Simon Kirke and Lorraine Kirke. Her sisters are famous actresses Lola Kirke and Jemima Kirke.
She is of Iraqi-Jewish descent and was named after bounty hunter, Domino Harvey, whom Lorraine met when Harvey was young. Domino started early in music having been trained by her musician father. She sang in choirs, operas and plays. Growing up in New York City, she attended Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School where she studied piano and classical voice.
Domino Kirke was Amy Schumer’s Doula
When Domino was 19, she was spotted by a producer when she was performing in Joe’s Pub in Manhattan, NYC, and shortly afterwards, started the band DOMINO with Jordan Galland. The band has worked with Mark Ronson and artists like Gang of Four and Lily Allen.
Apart from being a musician, Domino is also a Doula. She was the doula for Amy Schumer. In an Instagram post by Schumer on May 2019, she wrote, “I was lucky enough to get to have a doula. Her name @domino_kirke @carriagehousebirth what do doulas do? I don’t totally know But what she did was make me and Chris feel totally secure and supported throughout my pregnancy and the birth process. I really recommend getting one if you can.”
In 2010, she started a doula service, along with two partners, Lindsey Bliss and Samantha Huggins. They provide services in New York and Los Angeles. She said about being a doula in an interview, “I was always interested in becoming a midwife, then at my own birth I didn’t get the support I’d hoped for, and that changed everything. That’s why I became a doula.”

Domino and Penn started dating in 2014. Domino has said that she wasn’t serious about her relationship with the actor as she was concentrated in raising her son, Cassius, who she had with musician Morgan O’Kane.
The two got married on February 27, 2017, in a New York courthouse. Later in June, the two hosted a wedding reception in update New York. The couple tried for a baby, but tragedy struck as Kirke went through two miscarriages.
Fortunately, Kirke is pregnant again. She took to Instagram to share the news to her almost 80k followers. She posted a picture of her baby bump along with a lengthy emotional caption.
