Yasiel Puig on Bryce Harper, baseball and his new mindset.

Cuban professional baseball player Yasiel Puig has expressed that Bryce Harper is his idol. He is also showing his interest in joining Make Baseball Fun Again campaign.

“Bryce Harper is my idol now. I’m going to join him in the ‘make baseball fun again’ campaign; I’m just waiting to get my shirts and baseball caps. He’s always been a great friend and a great athlete, and I admire him. I like how he plays the game, and I think he gets it. It’s good to see an American player saying that there needs to be a little more fun in baseball. Fans leave everything behind to come and see us play. We have to make baseball fun for the fans and not take everything so personal", said Yasiel to ESPN.

Yasiel, who himself is a very renowned player has been able to satisfy his team and the fans since his debut four years ago. He is known to be very energetic and flashy in his play but also criticized for not being  a good teammate or slacking off.

23-year-old American baseball player Harper became the first player in major league history to reach base seven times in a game without an official at-bat, as he drew six walks and was hit by a pitch in Sunday's extra-inning loss to the Cubs. As such, the unlikely team up has sure raised question among the fan of both giants.
