Who is lesbian actress Liz Carr dating? Is she married?

The British actress, comedian, and journalist Lizz Carr has been married to her wife Jo Church for 6 beautiful years now. The couple got married to longtime partner Jo Church in 2010 and had a stunning wedding in a Dia de Los Muertos theme. The BBC had posted about their wedding calling it a "wheelie special wedding."

Carr talks about her wedding to Jo in an interview with Offbeat Bride, “Both of us were dreading the traditionally awkward wedding dance. People would be wondering how exactly Jo and I dance together; would Jo get down on her knees and hold me close or perhaps scoop me up in her arms and whisk me around the floor? We decided to really give them something to talk about. So we signed up for dance classes and filmed the result, negating the need to perform on the day. We chose Time of my Life from Dirty Dancing. In the film, Patrick Swayze lifts his dance partner above his head. In our version, the local fire brigade lifted me aloft in my wheelchair…”

At the age of seven, Carr was diagnosed with a "very rare, obscure" illness and at 11 was told she would need a wheelchair for the rest of her life. In a radio interview with BBC UK in 20808, Carr revealed more about her condition,

“When I was 14 I remember going into one of those medical consultations with about 12 people around the room - the doctor, all their cronies, and the psychologist and the whole thing - and I wanted to know - what about my lifespan. And the doctor just said - well you won't live to be old. What does that mean? You know I'm 35 now, am I old now? And it's like a sword of Damocles over me all the time, I never quite know. Medical technology and science mean that a lot of us who were told we might not live beyond our teens or our 20s, or 30s are making old age.”
