Tyler Collins apologizes after making an obscene gesture, says he's embarrassed about it.

Whoa! Man that was not cool at all but now after that apology, it is kind of ok. Tyler Collins apologizes after making an obscene gesture, says he's embarrassed about it.

Tyler Collins flips off Tigers fans during a 7-3 victory over the Oakland Athletics. All in all, he flips off the Comerica Park crowd and he had made it very clear that he is sorry for his behavior. Also, he said that he didn’t appreciate being booed by fans during a home game.

What happened was that Collins lost a ball of Marcus Semien to lead off the sixth inning. Semien was credited with a double and went to third on an error by Justin Upton, who lost the handle on the ball while fielding it after it fell harmlessly in front of Collins.

Then Tigers fans booed the game. It was not even sure whether it was directed to Collins as a whole or not, Collins took it personally and end up with an obscene gesture. For more of the details click here- Detroit Free Press.

"That hurt," Collins said of the botched play. "To be at home and to hear boos after that play hit a trigger inside of me and I lashed out completely inappropriately. I'm absolutely embarrassed that happened and I'm very sorry to everybody in Detroit. I just want you guys to understand that I love this team and I want to win. So when we come home and get booed, it's tough to swallow. But like I said, I apologize completely. I'm embarrassed at myself. I know my family's embarrassed at me. I'm sure these guys are, too. I'm sorry it happened."
