TV Show presenter and fishing expert Robson Green says his new girlfriend is his biggest catch, worried about ageing

Television presenter and host of the shows “Extreme Fishing” and “Extreme Fishing Challenge” Robson Green recently revealed to the chroniclelive.co.uk, his biggest catch yet. So what do you think it might be? Let us do the honor. It’s his new girlfriend.

Green, who portrayed Fusilier Dave Tucker in Soldier Soldier and Dr. Tony Hill in Wire in the Blood, has finally found a girlfriend and he believes that she is the biggest achievement of his life. The Tales from Northumberland presenter, who has been married and divorced twice before, revealed that his new girlfriend was an account manager for a huge clothing brand. But he didn’t reveal the name of the lucky woman. According to the actor, his new lover loves being out-door just like him.

Green was single for four years after his marriage with his second wife, Vanya Seager. They were together for 12 years. Before Vanya, he was married occupational therapist Alison Ogilvie. They tied the knot on 22 June 1991, but separated after eight years.

The Geordie star also gave more detail about his new girl. He said that his girlfriend loved fishing and we all know how much Robson loves fishing himself!! He has been on a quest to hunt down the world’s most dangerous fishes in his show Extreme Fishing.

The artist said: “We both like the countryside and walking and she finds fishing peaceful.”

When asked if he was ready for a wedding anytime soon, he replied: “Marriage? I have no time - there’s too much fishing to be done.” Ha ha…

He also talked about his split with Vanya and how they were still good friends despite the break up.

He said: “Relationships sometimes don’t work, and that’s life.

“That’s what happened with me and Vanya, but we’re on good terms and she’s an astonishing, beautiful woman and a wonderful mother.

“Our wonderful son Taylor is very bright and sporty and is doing incredible things, so it’s all good.

“My advice to him as he grows up is to find something that truly makes him happy, and then he’ll never have to work again.

“That’s how it is for me - I pursued two things which really fulfil me, fishing and acting, and it’s led to so many great things, and I’ve got paid for it. It’s never felt like work.”

It seemed as if he was done talking about his girlfriend, so he started talking his favorite topic; fishing of course.

He said: “When I’m acting, I’m pretending to be someone else, but when I fish, I’m just Robson.

“I’m totally me, and I love the fact we never know what’s going to happen next. The fish make the rules.

“Fishing’s such a beautiful activity which makes perfect sense to me. It’s like a therapy, because you are surrounded by nature, and that helps you get a proper rhythm for life.”

Besides a new lover and fishing, he also revealed his fear of getting old as he turned 50. After all, it is not easy to maintain a fit body and strength along with the demands of such a high profile career.

The actor, who quit Twitter after receiving abusive messages on the social media site, is happily sharing his love of fishing with his new girlfriend and we wish them all the best.
