'The Sean Hannity Show's' Sean Hannity Net worth,Salary, and Career

Best known as the host of The Sean Hannity Show, Sean Patrick Hannity is an American radio and television host, author and a conservative political commentator. In addition to The Sean Hannity Show, he has a cable news show on Fox News Channel, named Hannity.

Sean Hannity media career started way back in 1989 when he hosted his first radio talk show at the volunteer college station at UC Santa Barbara, KCSB-FM. He speaks of his first show as,

"I wasn't good at it. I was terrible."

But it wasn’t only his abominable way of presenting that got the show canceled, he told a lesbian caller
"I feel sorry for your child."

Hannity's haven't quite changed even as of now, following the gun violence that happened in Orlando this June, Hannity faced a hard time for his Islamophobic comments!

After this, he moved on to work with the radio station WVNN in Athens, Alabama for their afternoon talk show. And this also happens to be the time Hannity met Jill Rhodes who would eventually be his wife. Jill Rhodes was a political columnist at the Huntsville Times back then.

They became close with their regular meetings regarding work and after two years of knowing one another, they got married in 1993.

In 1996, Hannity got hired by Fox News to host an American political "point-counterpoint" style television program under his name Hannity and LTBD which was later named as Hannity & Colmes when Alan Colmes joined in as a co-host.

The show eventually had an ending in 2008 after Colmes announced his departure. In 1997, WABC put Hannity on the air full time, giving him the late night time slot and later moving him  to the afternoon time slot.

During his time on the Hannity & Colmes show, Sean had plenty of arguments with the show guests such as Fr. Thomas J. Euteneuer of Human Life International, who challenged Hannity on his public dissent from the Catholic Church on the issue of contraception.

The show after its ending in 2009 was replaced by Sean Hannity’s new show, Hannity. Prior to this Hannity had his own Sunday night TV show on Fox News, Hannity’s America in January 2007.
