Tate Donovan says he's happy for his ex-girlfriend, Jennifer Aniston. The latter got married to Justin Theroux last year

There seems to be no hard feelings between American actor and director Tate Donovan and his ex-girlfriend Jennifer Aniston. The 52 years old actor admitted that though he is no longer in touch with The Break-Up actress, he’s happy for her that she found love with the screenwriter, Justin Theroux.

The Argo actor opened up about his feelings on his ex-girlfriend’s engagement to Justin Theroux. Donovan and Aniston dated for nearly three years from 1995 to 1998. During that time, Donovan even had played the love interest of the actress on a few episodes of the NBC’s popular sitcom Friends as Joshua.

After their split in 1998, Jennifer Aniston went on to marry Brad Pitt in 2000, while Tate Donavan married writer Corinne Kingsburry in 2005. However, both of them could not lead happy marriages they hoped for and ended in divorce. Donovan separated from his wife in 2008 and now-a-days rumored to be dating.

At a Television Critics Association cocktail event for NBC on January 2013, Donovan shared his feelings on the engagement of his ex-love to US Weekly,

“I am very happy for her. I hope it lasts and that they have a great time. And I’m sure they will. They seem like a very happy couple.”

Actress Aniston began her relationship with actor, director and screenwriter Justin Theroux in May 2011. After dating for a year, they became engaged in August 10, 2012 and got married on August 5, 2015. The couple had a destination wedding with a few friends at their Bel air estate.

Donavan seems to be really glad for his ex- love and hoped for her happy life even though the happy ending he dreamt for their relationship could not come true.

Donavan also added that he had previously met Theroux, Aniston’s husband and has known him for many years. He said that they were once both involved in the Williamstown Theatre Festival, held at Massachusetts several years ago. Donavan found him really smart and good guy.

Donovan said,” He’s a really good guy. A really smart, very good guy.”

Previously too Donavan has spoken well of Aniston. At the 2010 Golden Globes, after running into her, he had told E!News that she looked gorgeous in her slinky black Valentino gown. He had even said that anything that had happened in the past between them was just that in the past.

Tate Donavan is well known for his roles in movies as Argo, Good Night, and Good Luck, Hostages and 24: Live another Day. He has also made guest appearances in numerous television series including Magnum, P.I., The Guardian, Mister Sterling, Exposed and The O.C.

He began his career as an actor since he was young in the year 1986 with the role of Kevin Donaldson in the film SpaceCamp. He has even directed several episodes of television series including The O.C., Medium, Damages, Nip/Tuck, Weeds, Gossip Girl and Glee.

Actor and director Donavan is quite remembered for his teeth and smile. He has an estimated net worth of $5 million.
