Sophie Nelisse's movies at festivals all around the world.

At a tender age of 16, Sophie Nelisse has managed to be a phenomenal actress of all time with a terrific list of tremendous movies under her name. Her recent critically acclaimed movie was 2013’s The Book Thief. Many of her films have landed in international film festivals like Toronto Film Festival, Tribeca Film Festival, and Cannes Film Festival.

Her new thriller movie Wait Till Helen Comes is all set to release at the Cannes Film Festival on May 11.
Entertainment One will distribute the film in Canada. The film also stars Isabelle Nelisse, her real life sister.

The movie is an adaptation of the 1986 novel by Mary Downing Hahn. The story is based on a house haunted by the tormented ghost of a little girl befriended by Isabelle Nelisse’s character.

“‘Wait Till Helen Comes’ is an elevated genre movie in high demand but low supply,” said Daisy Hamilton, TriCoast’s VP of acquisitions. “It is truly a scary ghost story for children not allowed at PG-13 and R-rated movies, yet it still delivers a message of family values.”
