Soccer prodigy Krystian Bielik, age 17, could prove very useful for his team, Arsenal, this season

Seventeen games have been already been played in the Premier League this season. Arsenal currently sits on the second position in the league table, only 2 points behind the table toppers, Leicester City. With 21 games still left until the completion of this season, Arsenal requires depth in its squad to ensure that they remain on top until the season ends. Promising defender Krystian Bielik can assure exactly that.

Young Krystian BIelik has exceptional vision for the game. He has the ability to control the pace of the game from the back. With his rock solid defensive abilities, outstanding dead ball skills and pace to convert defensive move to offensive move, Bielik could be taking control of Arsenal’s defense in this season and plenty of seasons to come.

He is only 17 years from age. At his young age, he has already proven himself as a football player to look out for. His dribbling skills are on par with attacking players. His playing style has been compared to the legendary Roberto Carlos by his team mates.

Arsenal is suffering a serious injury crisis this year. 5 of the first team players have been out of the soccer field due to injury.  Most of the injured players performed defensive duty on the field. Their injury has left Arsenal’s defense vunerable. Francis Coquelin, the player who had been holding Arsenal’s defense together throughout the season, is also injured. This is giving Krystian Bielik an opportunity to impress Arsene Wenger.

Because of his exceptional talent, it is natural that plenty of top clubs from England and Spain are trying to secure the Polish young man’s service. But, he has reportedly stated that he admires Arsene Wegner’s footballing philosophy  and Arsenal’s youth centered style of footballing could help him be more successful.

Bielik has not yet made a first team appearance for Arsenal. But he is a constant feature in Arsenal’s second team. His performance has reportedly impressed the second team manager. And, with so many of Arsenal’s first team players injured, his debut for Arsenal may not be that far into the future.

Krystian started his playing career from his home town club, Gornik Konin. He later joined Lech Poznan, where he spent two more years.  He transferred to Legia Warszawa then. He was signed at the fee of 8,800 pounds by Warszawa.  Arsenal secured Bielik’s service by reportedly paying a sum of 2.7 million pounds.

On January 21, he was announced as an Arsenal player. The term of his contracts are undisclosed. But, there are suggestions that the teenager receives about 20k per week as his wage and has a contract which keeps him at Arsenal till the summer of 2020.

He constantly features in U17 Polish football team. He currently lives in north London, where he has an apartment.
